In Sindh, 26 more deaths and 891 new cases were reported from Corona

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement on the status of corona virus said that 15097 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, as a result of which 891 new cases were reported while 26 more patients died due to the epidemic.

He said that since then the total number of deaths has reached 7159, today 856 more patients have recovered. The total number of healthy people has reached 388481.

So far 5751345 samples have been tested out of which 444854 cases have been reported.

According to the Chief Minister, 49214 patients are currently undergoing treatment, out of which 48425 are in homes, 40 in isolation centers and 734 patients are undergoing treatment in various hospitals.

He said that the condition of 650 patients was reported to be critical and 56 patients were on ventilators.

The Chief Minister said that out of 891 new cases in the province, 334 are from Karachi, out of which 124 cases have been reported from East District, 77 from Central District, 59 from South District, 34 from Malir, 22 from West District and 18 from Korangi.

Other districts include Hyderabad 85, Jamshoro 54, Shaheed Benazirabad 37, Sanghar 34, Thatta 32, Matiari 30, Thar Parkar 29, Badin 26, Tando Allahyar 24, Tando Muhammad Khan 23, Nowshero Feroze 19, Sujawal 17, Dadu 14. , Larkana 11, Mirpur Khas and Umerkot 10. 10, Kashmore 5, Ghotki 4 and Sukkur 3 new cases have come to light.
