A 23-members team of Karachi Youth Hockey Club reached Gojra to participate in Pakistan Defense Hockey Series.

Karachi, by (Zeeshan Husain) A 23-members team of Karachi Youth Hockey Club led by Wasim Aslam has reached Gojra to participate in Pakistan Defense Hockey Series. Haider Hussain, Coordinator and Secretary, Pakistan Hockey Federation bid farewell to the team at Karachi Cantt Station.

YHC team to participate in Pakistan Defense Hockey Series in Gojra, Punjab teams from PAF Shore Kot Base, 55 Baloch Regiment Sindh Shower, Karachi Youth Hockey Club, 22 Baloch Regiment Shower, 9 Signal Gujranwala and 21 Sindh Regiment Kharian including YHC will also be seen in action at the event. Ahead of YHC departure, the 23-member squad was announced by a two-member selection committee comprising international hockey players Laiq Ahmed and Shujaat Ali at the end of an ongoing training camp for 29 players at the KHA Sports Complex.

A dinner in honor of the players at the A Sports Complex at the dinner, former captains Olympian Hanif Khan, Pervez Iqbal, Tasneem Usmani, Laiq Lashari and Salman Sheikh encouraged the players and gave them tips on how to play their best. Abdullah Sheikh, Abdul Rafi, Alian Saleem, Abdul Razzaq, Arifullah Khan, Nadeem Akram, Arbaaz Ayaz, Hamad Ayaz, Shahbaz Haider, Haris Naseer, Sultan Mahmood, Wasim Aslam (Captain), Fahim Khan, Khidr Bin Ilyas in Karachi Youth Hockey Club. Shahzeb Arbab, Wahab Sheikh, Abdul Wahab Jr., Raza Abbas, Maysam Abbas, Shahzeb Khan, Abdul Rehman, Hassan AliAnd Mohsin Nawaz.
