Mother of Dr Aafia hospitalized

Karachi: Ismat Siddiqui, the mother of Dr Aafia Siddiqui and Dr Fowzia Siddiqui is hospitalized after her health condition further deteriorated on Saturday morning.
As per details, Ismat Siddiqui was rushed to Aga Khan University hospital where she was admitted. Her health condition deteriorated on Friday evening. Presently, she was kept in ICU, where her different tests were being conducted. However, her Covid test was negative. She was suffering from fever and respiratory issues. She is also a chronic kidney patient. Due to prolonged detention of her daughter Dr Aafia Siddiqui, she also faces acute sadness.

Dr Fowzia Siddiqui has appealed to whole Pakistani nation and supporters of Aafia abroad to pray for early recovery and health of Ismat Siddiqui.
