Joint session of Parliament, how was the invitation sent?

Islamabad: The National Assembly Secretariat has issued invitations to the joint sitting of Parliament.

 

Under the invitation, a joint sitting of Parliament will be held tomorrow at 4 pm in the Parliament House, to which President Dr. Arif Alvi will address.

 

Invitations have been issued by the Assembly Secretariat to the four Provincial Governors, Chief Ministers, President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chief Minister and Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan.

 

Invitations to the joint sitting of Parliament have also been sent to the Speakers of the Provincial Assemblies, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly.

 

The Assembly Secretariat has also issued invitations to the meeting to Special Assistants of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.

 

According to the National Assembly Secretariat, the meeting has been invited to the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Chief Election Commissioner, Auditor General and heads of constitutional institutions and federal secretaries.

 

The Assembly Secretariat has also issued invitations to the joint sitting of Parliament to the Chiefs of Armed Forces, Ambassadors and Media Representatives.

 

According to the announcement, a special shuttle service will run from Parliament Lodges to Parliament House to facilitate MPs.
