Dense fog continues to envelop in Punjab, KP

LAHORE: Dense fog has continued to envelop different areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday night. As per details, the Motorway (M2) section from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian, Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad, Faisalabad to Gojra were shut down due thick fog as visibility was down to zero. On the other hand, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Peshawar-Rashakai Motorway section (M1) has been closed for all kind of traffic morning due to dense fog. The thick fog has also badly affected the flow of road traffic at the National Highway in Pattoki, Habibabad, Renala Khurd, Okara and Sahiwal.
