The eight teams participating in the event have been divided into two groups the hockey league organized by the Hockey Association and in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Sindh, the four-day tournament aims to be part of the preparations for the first Punjab Chief Minister Five A-Side National Women’s Hockey Tournament scheduled in Lahore.The teams involved in the event have been named after the wives of well-known hockey players.

Other players, includes players selected from Hyderabad, Mirpur Khas and Karachi for the Five A-Side Tournament in the league, will be seen in action. Syeda Shehla Raza, Captain Sameera Naseem, Team Mina Hassan, Captain Sanaina Jahanzeb, Team Nighat Manzoor Jr., Captain Kanwal Ijaz and Team Tehseen Munawar, Captain Larib Chauhan while in Pool B Team Yasmeen Samiullah, Captain Fareeha Sindh, Team Musarrat Hanif, Captain Shahzama Naseem, Team Anila NasAli, captain Sundus Siddiqui and team Lubna Iftikhar are named after captain Batool Kazmi.
