Israeli helicopter strikes southern Gaza Strip

In Palestine, an Israeli combat helicopter has carried out aerial attack on the southern parts of the besieged Gaza Strip .Security officials said Israeli airstrike on central Gaza Strip was the first in a month and a half where Egypt and United Nations brokered a calm understanding between Israel and Hamas.

There was no immediate report of possible casualties and the extent of damage inflicted in the Israeli airstrike.
